Overview of data processing
We collect and process personal data only to the extent necessary:
– When visiting the website: technically required data (IP, access time, requested page, browser type) in server logs, plus language preference (NEXT_LOCALE cookie).
– Via contact and consulting forms (general contact, AI consulting): name, email, message, and any other data you provide.
– With your consent: data for analytics (Google Analytics) and marketing (Google Ads, Meta Pixel) – manageable via our cookie banner.
Hosting and server logs
This website is operated on servers of a hosting provider (processing on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR). Technically required server logs are created (e.g. IP address, access time, requested URL, browser type, referrer). Depending on the provider, processing may also occur in third countries (e.g. the USA); the provider’s safeguards apply (including EU Commission Standard Contractual Clauses).
Processing is based on our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are generally deleted after a short period unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Contact form
When you write to us via the contact form or the form on the “AI consulting” page, we process the data you provide (name, email, company, website, goal, budget, message, or for AI consulting: type and message) solely to handle your request.
Legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures or contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Data is not shared with third parties.
Data is deleted after completion of processing unless tax or commercial retention obligations apply.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and similar technologies:
Necessary cookies: NEXT_LOCALE (language selection) – required for the website to function. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Consent and storing your choice: we store your selection in the “cc_cookie” cookie (default lifetime up to approx. 182 days unless reset). Legal basis for optional categories: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), where you opt in.
Analytics and marketing (Google Tag Manager with Google Consent Mode, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta Pixel): before you actively consent, analytics and ad storage are denied technically (Consent Mode). Only after you accept the “Analytics” and/or “Marketing” category are the corresponding measurements or ads activated. The Google Tag Manager container may load without analytics or marketing storage taking place yet.
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
If you consent to the “Analytics” category, we use Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Measurement tags (especially GA4) are run via GTM only after you consent to “Analytics”. GA4 collects usage data (e.g. page views, dwell time, device type) in pseudonymized form. IP anonymization should be configured in GA4.
Data is used to evaluate website usage and improve our offering. For details on Google's data processing: policies.google.com/privacy.
You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings.
Google Ads and Meta Pixel
With your consent, we use Google Ads (conversion tracking, remarketing) and Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram).
Google Ads: Provider is Google Ireland Limited. Conversion data and interest-based advertising are processed. Privacy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Meta Pixel: Provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. Usage data is processed for advertising and analytics. Privacy: www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation.
Both services are only loaded if you have consented to the "Marketing" category in our cookie settings. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Data transfer to third countries
Google and Meta also process data in the USA. For transfers to third countries without adequate data protection, these providers use EU Commission Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures.
Further information on data transfers can be found in the respective providers' privacy policies.
Storage period
Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the respective processing purpose or as required by statutory retention periods.
Server logs are generally deleted after a few days or weeks. Contact data from inquiries is deleted after processing unless retention obligations apply. We store your cookie consent in the “cc_cookie” cookie (see its lifetime).
